Why We Started AmplifyAM

We launched AmplifyAM to give people a faster, more collaborative way to bring their ideas to life.

Tired of rigid processes and delayed launches, we built a shop that works like a creative studio — flexible and deeply invested in each project we work on.

We’re problem-solvers by nature; tinkerers and builders who care about the details and move with urgency.

Whether you’re prototyping your next product, bringing your art to life in a new exciting way, or need support bringing advanced manufacturing in-house, we’re here to make it happen.

The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.

Help anyone build anything

We believe the future of manufacturing is local, digital, and radically open. As tools like 3D printing, scanning, and CAD modeling become more accessible, creators of all sizes gain the power to design and build on their own terms.

At AmplifyAM, we’re not just watching that shift - we’re building the bridge to it. Whether you’re prototyping a new product, modernizing an existing workflow, or experimenting with your first design, we’re here to make these tools and techniques approachable and available to everyone.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you based? Do you ship nationwide?

We’re based in Costa Mesa, California. We primarily work with clients in Southern California, but have the ability to ship all across the United States. Need something local? We’ve got you. Need it shipped? Done.

How fast can you turn parts around?

Depending on the material and complexity, we can often turn prototypes in 2–5 business days. For production runs or scanning/design projects, timelines will vary, but we’ll always keep it tight and transparent.

What kind of files do I need to start a project?

We work with STEP, STL, OBJ, 3MF and other common 3D/CAD formats. If you’re not sure what you have, send it anyway. We’ll help you figure it out.

Do you offer design help or just manufacturing?

Both. We offer CAD design, reverse engineering, scanning, and full fabrication, so we can jump in wherever you need us. Take a look at our Services page for a complete breakdown of our capabilities.
